TEXTILE : VAN HONGO ORIGINAL JACQUARD
The architects were looking for a textured, uneven material to create a new office space with the power to move people like a vortex. Van Hongo's original jacquard fabric met their requirements and they decided to use it for the meeting corners' partitions.
In keeping with the dynamic usage of modern office design, the meeting corners are divided by adjustable panels that can be opened and closed. These panels are not simply made of a single piece of fabric, but are made by sewing together pieces of fabric cut into brick shapes, giving them a finish reminiscent of solid architectural materials.
When they are suspended in a floating position, creating a distinctive floating effect. They might look like fabrics or stones, might look light or heavy.
