Garter Stripe Knit
In border knitting, the front side of the knitted fabric is a clean border, the back side of the knitted fabric becomes a border where thin lines are intertwined.
Combining these complicated intertwined borders with the garter knitting adds 3D effects and makes it a more complex border. Since I use a ribbon-like yarn, the rise of 3D becomes more solid.
For 3D effect, the knitted fabric becomes relatively thicker. So as few seams as possible, I design shoulder darts or skirt flares with increasing or decreasing borders, then it still keep flatness.
